Join seasoned politico Fred Keeley as he explores critical issues surrounding a recovering economy, major policy initiatives from inside and outside state government, and the trajectory of politics in the Golden State with Democrats in control of two of the three branches of state government. Accessible to all, the course will feature contemporary examples and case studies.

Fred Keeley is the elected Treasurer of the County of Santa Cruz and former member of the California State Assembly. He serves on the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation in Washington, D.C.; the California Ocean Science Trust board; the Board of Trustees for the Sempervirens Fund, and lectures at San Jose State University.
