Course Description:

Join author and avid hiker Patrice Vecchione for three vigorous but not daunting Saturday morning hikes. We'll walk together in the air and get close up to our gorgeous peninsula. The first, mostly flat, walk will be at Ft. Ord where we'll take to wide paths and car-free roads in the beauty of that wide-open space. Our second will take us to ethereal Jacks Peak Park for a hilly walk among the Monterey Pines where we'll catch views of the bay and Pt. Lobos. For our last Saturday, we’ll visit Palo Corona—a place full of local history, where we might even get to witness eagles floating on the breeze. Each hike will be between about 4 - 6.5 miles. We’ll take our time, feel our hearts quicken, our lungs fill with air, and know gratitude for our strong and able bodies.

Note: Level = Challenging for the Seasoned Hiker - Must Commit to all 3 Hikes
