Course Description:

True or false: Income inequality can rise even while poverty is falling. Fact or fiction: Households with higher income have fewer people working than households with lower income. Economist David Henderson dispels the myths and uncovers the truths behind economic inequality in today’s society while shedding light on the most effective paths to equity in the future.

David R. Henderson, PhD recently retired as Professor of Economics at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey and a Research Fellow with Stanford University’s Hoover Institution. He was previously a senior economist with President Reagan’s Council of Economic Advisers. Dr. Henderson has written articles for "The Wall Street Journal," "The
New York Times," "Fortune," and the "Los Angeles Times," among others, and has appeared on CNN, PBS, Stossel, The O’Reilly Factor, MSNBC, NPR and the BBC.
