Marine Mammals: Adaptation and Survival

Course Description:

Mammals living in the marine environment have developed adaptations to their physiology and behaviors that allow them to survive in the cold Pacific Ocean. In this introductory class, you'll earn how they thrive in this challenging environment, from withstanding the crushing pressure of the deep sea, to finding mates and searching for prey in the dark ocean, to keeping warm and dry in the waves.
