Course Description:

We have known since antiquity that the seat of learning is the human brain. But it has only been in the last decade that neuroscience researchers have been able to go inside the brain and observe how learning actually occurs at the molecular level. Neuroplasticity refers to the brain’s ability to change throughout life. The human brain has the amazing ability to reorganize itself by forming new connections between brain cells. This course takes a non-technical look at the ways that learning can change your brain.
