Course Description:

The freshwater marshes of Elkhorn Slough are regarded as one of the premier birding locations on the Central Coast. Join us as we spend the morning there during the peak of the local bird migration. In addition to viewing birds on the slough, we will prowl the large Eucalyptus grove that is a part of the Elkhorn Slough Reserve for southbound land birds. We'll also search among the cattle pens for cowbirds and other blackbird species.
