Course Description:

Granite and grasses, streams and icefields, the natural world is Andy Goldsworthy's palette and forge. Ranging from works that blow away in the next breeze to those that offer lasting meditations on the Earth's structure, Goldsworthy plays with our sense of curiosity and with our notions of what is art? Sensual, provocative, often good-humored, his creations enrich our ways of interpreting the world outside. Join us for a compelling slide presentation and discussion of Goldsworthy's artworks. Included will be references to other artists who have used the natural world as a medium.
