Course Description:The Carmel River watershed has a highly rich and complicated ecosystem and has suffered substantial change from human use. We'll independently view a video that highlights the watershed as our water source and shows that too much water has been removed for our use to maintain a healthy ecosystem. Then, together, we'll virtually visit a small island of native vegetation along the Carmel River and touch on what a healthy habitat area looks like. We will also view examples of man's impact throughout the area. |
