Course Description:

Comedy improv is the art of transforming audience suggestions into theater games and scenes. The results are, at best, hilarious and, at worst, always interesting. In this experiential 4-week workshop, we will learn the craft through playing warm-up and skill-building games followed by the theater games themselves. Former improv artist and standup comic Carol Roberts creates a supportive and relaxed atmosphere that welcomes first-time and experienced improvisors alike. Improv is great for exercising our mind, improving our memory and honing our public speaking skills. But, most importantly, it gives us adults a rare chance to play!
