Course Description:

"Moby Dick" (1851) is a masterpiece of storytelling and symbolic realism. It may also be one of the most admired yet least read American novels. Dr. Curry will guide us through the story and help us enjoy the thrill of capturing the meaning of the white whale and dispelling the myth that "Moby Dick" is a long, dull and boring read.
