Course Description:

Join us for a series of inspiring conversations with three nationally renowned artists, moderated by the initimable Brian Taylor. We’ll begin by exploring the photography of Ted Orland, former assistant to Charles and Ray Eames and later assistant and darkroom printer for Ansel Adams. Ted co-authored the modern classic, "Art and Fear," and has a lifetime of artwork and stories to share. In our second session we’ll visit with Holly Roberts in her studio outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico as she presents an overview of her innovative, signature technique of combining still photographs with paint and collage. We’ll spend our third meeting with a truly important Monterey County artist, Warren Chang.
