[Past Event] Great Decisions Discussion Group (p.23)

Course Description:

OLLI is proud to host the World Affairs Council of Monterey Bay, whose moderated discussion format has generated insightful exchanges for decades. This is not a lecture series, but rather an opportunity to research the given topic and then engage in meaningful dialogue. We'll discuss eight critical topics in the Foreign Policy Association's "Great Decisions 2021" briefing book. You are encouraged to view the "Great Decisions" documentary on each topic on your own to provide additional context. Video info to be provided. Participants are welcome to share their knowledge and views–but just listening is fine too.

Topics: Global Supply Chains and National Security, Persian Gulf Security Issues, Brexit and the European Union, Struggles Over the Melting Arctic, China's Role in Africa, The Korean Peninsula, Roles of International Organizations in a Global Pandemic, and The End of Globalization?

Book: "Great Decisions 2021" briefing book is not included. You may order via the Foreign Policy Association, $32+shipping; or (800)477-5836.
