[Past Event] Hands Across the Hills: Bridging Divides (p.22)

Course Description:

In the aftermath of the 2016 election, world-renowned peace educator Dr. Paula Green was instrumental in developing Hands Across the Hills, an intensive dialogue and cultural exchange between residents of conservative Letcher County, Kentucky, and liberal Leverett, Massachusetts. Though the two sides held diverse positions on many issues, they learned how much they agreed on–about themselves and the country they share. Dr. Green shares the captivating story of two communities who now see themselves bound together by fate as they remain committed to working side by side not only as neighbors, but as friends.
