Course Description:

Join us each month as we explore outdoor settings around the Monterey Peninsula and use timed writings to coax spontaneous thoughts onto paper. During each session we walk in silence, write, then read aloud to each other without comment. Our writing process often takes us to an intersection of spontaneity and authenticity, where the personal and universal sit side by side. Please bring a pen and notebook, chair or cushion, and wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Tuition: $45.00

Additional Fees: $0.00

Register Myself

Tuesdays, Aug 31; Sept. 28; Oct. 26; Nov. 30 *9:30am - noon* (4 sessions)

Course will be presented live at various locations (TBA) and will NOT be recorded or available for viewing later. To keep everyone safe, seats are limited.

Thank you for your interest in Plein Air Writing. We wanted to make everyone aware of a change in facilitators for the Fall semester. One of your original instructors, Kathy Whilden, is dealing with health issues and will need this time to focus on treatment and healing.

Kathy and her teaching partner, Roxane Buck-Ezcurra, operate as a team, so both will give way to a new pair of facilitators this Fall: Teresa Jones and Mike McCurdy. Teresa and Mike are longtime Plein Air writers and intimately familiar with the practice.
