Course Description:

Confused about what you've been hearing about the coronavirus? There is a lot of different information, and mis-information, being distributed as the scientific community struggles to learn about this new danger. Amidst the tumult, there's been some interesting scientific research on how COVID-19 affects the brain and how those deficits can be addressed. We'll talk about the most up-to-date information on this disease including symptoms, vaccines and treatments.

We'll meet online via Zoom. Zoom is free and easy to use. OLLI will walk you through the steps. Prior to each Zoom meeting (class), you will receive an email with specific details on that meeting.


Chris Hasegawa, Ph.D., retired as Dean of Extended Education and International Programs at Cal State Monterey Bay. Prior to that position, he taught at the University of Oregon, CSU Sacramento and Cal State Monterey Bay.
