Course Description:

Last spring, we took a look at what happens in our brain when we have COVID, with anxiety and depression topping the list. Now that we are finally moving away from a COVID-centered reality, we can examine the newest research on how COVID affected our brains, and take a special look at how music helped to reduce problems for many people.

Course will meet live via Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to you prior to each class session. Courses will stream via Zoom and WILL be recorded for viewing later. A video link will be emailed to you within 3-5 days of each session.


Chris Hasegawa, Ph.D., retired as Dean of Extended Education and International Programs at Cal State Monterey Bay. Prior to that position, he taught at the University of Oregon, Sacramento State and CSUMB.
