Course Description:

There's nothing like a great mystery. In books, films and television, many of us are thrilled as we follow a detective or spy as they work to find clues and save the world. We try to solve crimes with Sherlock Holmes and James Bond. We look for connections while watching "Mission: Impossible" and "Murder, She Wrote." Join us as we discuss those storied fictional spies and private investigators who make up a genre that has had a significant impact on our popular culture.

Chris Hasegawa has had a long held fascination for those who solve mysteries and seek out "the truth of a situation" in all its many forms. This genre has provided an entertaining means for exploring his problem solving inclinations. Larry Sill, a self-described 007 aficionado, has tracked the various James Bonds, their success, or lack of, and impact on the brand for many decades.
