Course Description:Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel sang a song called "Old Friends" that paints a portrait of two old men, and suggests the two reminiscing on the years of their youth. For this beloved folk rock duo, there is much to reflect upon. Seven Grammy awards, three number-one hits, and induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Join us as we explore the lives and music of one of the most magical pairings in music history. This course coincides with the Sunset Center's presentation of "The Simon & Garfunkel Story" on April 7th. |
