Course Description:Marine ecologist Salvador Jorgensen provides an overview of white shark population dynamics off Central California amidst a rapidly changing environment. He'll present ecological data from tracking studies and population surveys of white sharks and related marine mammals. The emerging picture illustrates how predator recoveries and climate-driven range shifts are changing species communities and their interactions in the California Current ecosystem. |
