Course Description:Donald Trump has promised a wide range of actions as well as a path-breaking, norm-breaking approach to public policy. Many of his initial cabinet picks are unconventional and his embrace of a widescale restructuring of the federal bureaucracy signal a breadth of initiative unlike anyone since Franklin Roosevelt. During his first administration, Trump had limited success with his policy proposals. Will this time be different, especially since Republicans have a majority in both houses of Congress? Join us for an initial assessment of the administration after 100 days in office as we gain a sense of Trump's intentions and likelihood of success. |
