The financially self-supporting OLLI@CSUMB provides personal enrichment opportunities for people age 50 or better through an ever-expanding offering of unique university-level courses and experiences.

How is OLLI funded?

The funding for our self-supporting program comes from an endowment payout from The Bernard Osher Foundation (25%), member and course fees (55%), and donations (20%).  OLLI@CSUMB receives no state or University funding. Learn more

Is the cost of Membership an additional fee?

Our Annual Full Plum includes the membership fee.   

With the Mini-Plum Membership you'll pay a $20 membership fee and pay for each course at the fee listed.

How do I retrieve my username and password?

Help! When I try to login, I receive an error message that I have more than one account.   

The error message appears as your email address is associated with more than one account or user. We can fix that and retrieve your password/username for you. Simply call our office at (831) 582-5500 or email

How do I check my current course enrollment?

Your enrollment history will appear in your MY REGISTERED COURSES file. (You must be logged in to your account to view.) 

How do I view my Shopping Cart?

We encourage you to check your Shopping Cart before checkout. This will enable you to make changes to your course selection or membership level before payment is processed.

1.  You'll find your Shopping Cart in the upper right corner of each page. 

2.  Delete unwanted courses from your cart by clicking on the trash can image directly to the left of the course title.  

3.  To delete a Membership, you will first have to delete all of your courses. Once you do, a trash can icon will appear to the left of the Membership.  You may now delete the Membership and you can begin your order anew. 

Where are the courses held?

Most OLLI courses are held at CSUMB's new campus at Ryan Ranch in Monterey.  Select offerings are held on the main CSUMB campus, in Salinas at CSUMB @ Salinas City Center and other community venues.

How do I know where to go?

  • The course location is included in each course description. 
  • For every course you are enrolled in, you will receive an email with directions and pertinent course information.
  • Emails will be marked OLLI and will be sent 7 days prior to the start of your course.

Are there refunds for cancellations?

Membership fees are non-refundable.  Additional course fees (fees paid above and beyond your Membership) can be refunded with a written request made at least 7 days prior to the course start date.  Email requests to

How do I propose an OLLI course?

OLLI@CSUMB is seeking instructors for the Fall 2020 term (Aug. 24 - Dec. 16  2020).  If you would like to share your time and expertise with the OLLI community, please complete a Course Proposal Form and submit by April 1, 2020. Learn more...
