Course Description:What can a piece of art teach us about the human condition? And what can it tell us about our own lives? Dr. John Clark, educator and physician, invites us to see art through a new lens. He guides us through a close, interactive examination of iconic works of art that explore themes of the human experience. Through ardent and thoughtful observation and discussion, we'll consider how artists use color, tone, composition, and symbolism to reveal emotional insights. This revealing process sharpens our ability to observe, reflect, know, and understand more deeply —not only in art, but in life. |
