[Past Event] Bats: Nature's Misunderstood Creatures | Gentrain MPC

Course Description:

Did you know that there are over 1,400 species of bats, and you can find them on every continent but Antarctica? Bats act as pollinators, seed dispersers and natural pest control. Learn about bats, their unique characteristics and their importance to the ecosystem. Kristen Burroughs is a science illustrator who had the opportunity to illustrate bats for Bat Conservation International. With her illustrations, she encourages education and promotes conservation for this diverse group of misunderstood animals. Dive in the process of illustrating endangered bats, newly discovered bat species and bats from around the world.
