Course Description:It has been said that no place in America has produced the star power of athletes like the Bay Area. Joe, Tiger, Steph—all of them iconic, and no one told their stories better than Mark Soltau, who had a front row seat to their careers as a sportswriter for the San Francisco Examiner, and as editor of tigerwoods.com throughout Tiger's career. He'll share stories from his book, "Right Place, Write Time: A Lifetime of Memories With Sports Legends," a memoir of his experiences with Bill Walsh, Barry Bonds, John McEnroe, and his father Gordy, a star with the 49ers, among others. He's also covered 75 major golf championships and will give a preview of the upcoming Walker Cup at Cypress Point Club. |
