Course Description:

Channel your inner Fab Four via a special visit to Monterey by beloved OLLI instructor Pete Elman and his band, The Quarry Persons. We’ll sing dozens of our Beatles' faves including "Yesterday," "Eight Days a Week," "Please Please Me," "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away," "Ticket to Ride," "Hey Jude," and much more. Along the way, we'll revel in backstories, games, quizzes, and a whole lot of fun! Invite along your friends, family, neighbors—anyone who appreciates a rollickin' good time. Come celebrate the enduring magic of Paul, John, George, and Ringo within the wonderful confines of the Stanton Center in Downtown Monterey.

Beloved OLLI instructor Pete Elman and his band, The Quarry Persons. Pete Elman has been a professional musician since 1963, working as a performer, composer, arranger, studio musician, recording artist, and producer. He played with the beloved San Francisco ultimate Motown band, Pride and Joy, from 1983-1991.
