Course Description:In March 2025, award-winning photographer Ginger Chih spent three weeks on a pilgrimage to Bhutan, where she found the entire country appeared holy. Invited by her Bhutanese lama friends to visit East Bhutan—where few tourists venture—she traveled through high mountain paths and soft atmospheric clouds that enhanced the spirituality of the landscape. Staying in their village and monastery, she discovered Bhutan’s sacredness lives not only in its land and architecture but also within its people. She will share her journey photographing both external and internal spirituality. They are, as she discovered, seamlessly intertwined. |
