Course Description:Bill Brigham was a guiding light of OLLI, leading courses on addiction and cinema. His offerings often introduced us to films outside the mainstream that delivered powerful messages about life's struggles and triumphs. We miss Bill dearly and pay tribute to him in this course, which features three of his favorite films: "Mean Streets" (1973, Martin Scorsese), "Zelig" (1983, Woody Allen) and "Past Lives" (2023, Celine Song). These films reflect Bill's eclectic taste in cinema, showcasing a wide range of genres and themes. |
