Course Description:

Birdsong Orchards Farm in the beautiful Pajaro Valley is a wonderful example of how small-scale organic farming can provide hope in the face of our current climate crisis. All of its high-quality crops are grown through deeply sustainable practices to enrich and nurture the holistic health of the land. Join us for a delightful and informative tour of the property which includes hundreds of varieties of fruit trees, an abundant variety of perennial flowers, and a pasture shared by llamas, alpacas, emus, goats, and chickens. You'll learn about planting, fertilizing, pruning, and nurturing the health of the fruit trees and flowers, and say hello to the animals as well. At the end of the tour, you'll receive 5 lb. of newly-harvested fruit to enjoy at home.
