Celebrating the Metropolitan Opera | In Person (Ryan Ranch)
Course Description:Join Kimberly Wright for an introduction to the Metropolitan Opera's "The Met: Live in HD" series, shown at Cinemark Monterey. This season, we'll explore Mozart's "Così fan tutte," Verdi's "Macbeth," and Saint-Saëns's "Samson et Dalila" in pre-performance sessions designed to enrich your viewing experience. Drawing on her passion for the art form and her background in opera costume design, Kimberly will offer insights into each production. Whether you're a seasoned opera lover or a newcomer, it's a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts. Custom treats inspired by the operas will be served. Participants will visit Cinemark on their own to view each opera. |
