Course Description:Join Kimberly Wright for an introduction to the Metropolitan Opera's The Met: Live in HD series, shown at Cinemark Monterey. This season, we'll discuss Wagner's "Tristan und Isolde" and Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" in pre- and post-performance sessions. Drawing on her passion for the art form and her background in opera costume design, Kimberly will offer insights into each production. Whether you're a seasoned opera lover or a newcomer, it's a great opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts. Custom treats inspired by the operas will be served. Participants will visit Cinemark on their own to view each opera. |
