Course Description:Many of us volunteer, but few realize the far-reaching impact of our seemingly small actions. Learn how the benefits of community service can extend to a larger context. Explore how volunteering can enhance your life, satisfy your needs, and provide what the Japanese call "ikigai"—"why I get up in the morning." Through guided discussions and workshops, we'll reflect on the evolving landscape of volunteerism, share experiences, and explore new models of contribution. Participants will leave with a personal plan for thoughtful, purpose-driven engagement, designed to respond to a changing world. |
