Course Description:The Salinas Valley Health Museum of Medical History offers a glimpse into the evolution of medicine and medical equipment, including items used in local hospitals during the past 100 years. It also houses examples of unproven medicine and rare artifacts dating back to the 1700s. The museum was created in 1998 to provide a window into our scientific past and spark an interest in medical careers through volunteer-led tours. Join us to learn more about the museum, educational programs and how you can get involved. |
