Course Description:

In this revealing course, we will discuss a range of issues related to psychoactive substances, including the use of psychedelics in the treatment of depression and PTSD, Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome, the deadly infusion of fentanyl into the drug marketplace, adolescent vaping, the troubled Oregon decriminalization project, and others. Additionally, participants will be asked to submit topics of interest. This offering is designed to maximize interaction and discussion.

Facilitator:

William Brigham M.S.W, M.A., spent over 50 years in the addictions field, including working in residential drug treatment, methadone maintenance clinics, and serving as the Administrator of the NFL Program for Substances of Abuse for over two decades. He has taught related courses at several universities, as well as in San Quentin Rehabilitation Center.
