Course Description:

We often see a lot of ink and electrons devoted to the issue of whether we’ll have a recession. But much more important is whether we will have economic growth and how quickly the economy will grow. Recessions are a short-run issue. Economic growth is a long-run issue. Dr. David R. Henderson examines three major issues: 1) what economic growth is; 2) why growth is so important, for us and especially for poor countries; and, 3) what policies are most likely to lead to higher economic growth.
