Course Description:Revered fine artist and illustrator Donald Teague (18971991) was renowned for his western illustrations that appeared in "The Saturday Evening Post" and "Colliers" from 1923 to 1956. But he also received acclaim for his exquisite paintings of life on the Monterey Peninsula and in other locales around the globe. On both fronts, his art depicted observed and imagined characters and landscapes with a dramatic narrative flair. His grandson, Scott Gale, fosters Teague's legacy with a delightful presentation illuminating the life and work of this storied artist. |
