Course Description:The World Affairs Council of the Monterey Bay Area presents this moderated discussion format which has generated insightful exchanges for decades. We'll discuss eight critical topics in the Foreign Policy Association's Great Decisions 2025 briefing book. Each session will begin with a 20-minute online viewing of a lecture on the topic at hand to complement the week's reading. Participants are invited to share their knowledge and views—but just listening is fine too. Topics: American foreign policy at a crossroads; Changing leadership of world economy; U.S.-China relations; India; Climate change; Future of NATO; A.I. and national security; American foreign policy in Middle East. |

Linda Dilger retired after 35 years of mathematics education leadership. She was also a lecturer at CSUMB and holds master's degrees in educational technology and education leadership. Boyd Haight spent 35 years living overseas as an official of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and is currently involved with a number of non-profit
organizations.
