Great Decisions Discussion Group 2026 | Livestream Zoom

Course Description:

The World Affairs Council of the Monterey Bay Area (WACMB) presents this moderated discussion, which has sparked insightful exchanges for decades. We'll explore eight critical topics from the Foreign Policy Association's "Great Decisions" 2026 briefing book. Each session begins with a 20-minute online lecture to complement the week's reading. Participants are invited to share their knowledge and views—or simply listen. Topics: Trump 2.0 Foreign Policy: Trump Tariffs and the Future of the World Economy; US-China Relations; Ruptured Alliances and the Risk of Nuclear Proliferation; Ukraine and the Future of European Security; Multilateral Institutions in a Changing World Order; U.S. Engagement of Africa; and, The Future of Human Rights and International Law.
