Course Description:David Hockney said: "The only things that matter in life are food and love." During this two-part course we'll gorge on painted foods. We'll gather around tables with folks from a variety of places and times. We'll explore planting and harvesting, preparing and presenting. We'll sample the familiar and the bizarre, the plentiful and the sparse. We'll join artists as they invite us to intimate suppers and raucous celebrations. We'll eat our way through styles and centuries. And we won't gain a pound! |
