Course Description:The latest evidence indicates that life emerged on Earth nearly four billion years ago, when our planet was only half a billion years old. The story of how we have come to understand the origin of life on our planet, and the possibility of it happening elsewhere, is a captivating tale of discovery. But are we alone in the universe? An age-old question, to be sure, but one that continues to be asked around the globe. Milos Radakovich, a native of Yugoslavia, is a graduate of San Francisco State University who furthered his studies in marine science at Moss Landing Marine Labs and the Biological Sonar Lab at SRI. He's been a science educator for more than 50 years and also serves as an on-board naturalist for Celebrity Cruises.
