Course Description:

The Mekong River, the longest river in Asia, originates in the Tibetan Plateau and flows 2,700 miles through five countries before emptying into the South China Sea in Vietnam. The river is crucial to the livelihood of over 70 million people and has provided food, fresh water and transportation for centuries. Photographer Ginger Chih shares highlights of her recent journey exploring the rich culture, history and nature of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
