OLLI Story Lab | In Person (Ryan Ranch)
Course Description:Do you have a great tale to share? Perhaps a life-changing event or a memorable moment that would resonate with others in our community? Inspired by The Moth Radio Hour and continuing the storytelling tradition envisioned by Bill Brigham, OLLI Story Lab invites you to submit a true story of 300 words or fewer to olli@csumb.edu by September 11. Selected storytellers will participate in a two-hour workshop to refine their stories for telling aloud, with feedback and coaching along the way. Then, at a special gathering, you'll share your story with a warm and welcoming audience of your OLLI colleagues and friends. |

Chris Oaks was a social worker with Monterey County for 30 years, where he learned from the stories people entrusted to him. A longtime listener of The Moth Radio Hour, he enjoys helping others discover, shape, and share stories from their own lives.
