[Past Event] Aquaculture to the Rescue | Gentrain MPC

Course Description:

Aquaculture is increasingly being used for conservation purposes throughout California and beyond. Once only considered for food production, aquaculture is now recognized as a viable method to restore threatened species and ecosystems. Among the variety of conservation efforts to restore Elkhorn Slough, aquaculture has been used since 2018 to aid the imperiled Olympia oyster population. Learn about this effort and other ways aquaculture is being used to improve our environment.
