Course Description:How do artists inspire us to better see the world around us? In this course, we will explore the evolution of photography as an art form from pictorialism through the development of "direct" approaches. With a focus on the work of four legendary photographers—Imogen Cunningham, Edward Weston, Dorothea Lange, and Ansel Adams— we will discuss the creative methods behind the "art of seeing." |
