Course Description:

The World Affairs Council of the Monterey Bay Area presents this moderated discussion which has generated insightful exchanges for decades. We'll discuss eight critical topics in the Foreign Policy Association's Great Decisions 2024 briefing book. After viewing an online master class of the topic to complement the week's reading, participants are invited to share their knowledge and views—but just listening is fine too. This course will be offered via Livestream Zoom and will NOT be recorded or available for later viewing. Participants will receive their Zoom link with their welcome email approximately a week before the course begins.

Facilitator:

Linda Dilger retired after 35 years of mathematics education leadership. She was also a lecturer at CSUMB and holds master's degrees in educational technology and education leadership. Boyd Haight spent 35 years living overseas as an official of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and is currently involved with a number of non-profit organizations in the Monterey area.
