Path of the Rumsen Ohlone | Santa Lucia Preserve (Closed)
Course Description:Travel back in time with us for a glimpse of the daily lives of the native people who inhabited our area. The focus of our nature walk will be on the Rumsen's activities along the Carmel River during the spring and how they used native plants for many of their needs. Join us for this opportunity to view the landscape in which the Rumsen experienced harmony with nature. (Note: involves some walking on an even, dirt path. Group will carpool from the Crossroads Shopping Center.) |
