Steinbeck Views | Fort Ord National Monument [Hike] (Closed)
Course Description:Hike above the Salinas Valley, made famous by John Steinbeck. Take in the "pastures of heaven" and the hills that surround the Monterey Peninsula. Learn basic trail etiquette, safe practices, and the simple joy of being outdoors while looking out over the beautiful Salinas Valley. The hike will cover a distance of approximately 3 miles, with an elevation gain of 600 feet. |

Among many coaching awards, she received the U.S. Olympic Committee's Development Coach of the Year for her work with triathletes. She volunteers to lead hikes for the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District.
