Course Description:

Explore one of society's most persistent dilemmas: the clash between what the law demands and what conscience dictates. Must we always comply with the law, or do some circumstances justify resistance? With presidential power expanding, the questions of when authority becomes illegitimate and resistance becomes necessary are impossible to ignore. While we'll dive into theoretical foundations, every concept connects to lived experience and current events. Philosophical discussion forms the heart of our learning—this isn't a course where you'll sit passively and listen to a lecture. Bring your curiosity and a readiness to explore these timeless questions with your fellow colleagues.
