Course Description:For centuries, Sufi mystics have passed down stories that slip past the intellect and speak straight to the heart. Witty, strange and often disarming, these tales use contradiction and surprise to shake us awake. In this course, we'll read and reflect on stories by Rumi, Attar, Saadi, and others—stories of lost donkeys, drunken saints and unexpected revelations. We'll explore how these short, potent narratives invite us to rethink certainty, loosen the grip of ego, and stay open to mystery. These are not stories with tidy morals. They are doors. Let's walk through them together. |
