Course Description:

"To speak our life as we feel it is a freedom we mostly choose not to take," so said the writer Deborah Levy. If you write the morning away with me this autumn, this is a freedom you'll be invited to take. How do you feel it—your past and future, your self, family and friends, the world close by and the world farther away? Choose the words you want, write the ones you need to say, to clarify, illuminate, and reveal how you see, to express who you are. In this workshop, there'll be two guided and inspired writing periods per session and, if you choose, a chance to share something you've written with the group. This course is for those who see themselves as writers as well as those who don't (but will very soon!).
