Course Description:

The poet Lucille Clifton said, "I don’t write out of what I know; I write out of what I wonder." Join Patrice one Saturday a month to write your wonder, ask your questions and discover answers you couldn't have reached any other way. The simple act of putting pen to paper can be transformative. Words will appear that you couldn't have foreseen or even imagined. Suddenly, or so it can seem, a story or poem emerges that looks at the world anew or recalls a time you thought you'd forgotten. Each session offers two inspired writing periods and a chance to share new work. This course is for anyone with a life—that means you—whether you think of yourself as a writer or not.
